Throughout my professional career, I have had the opportunity to conduct several professional learning sessions for my colleagues on various topics and points of interest. These opportunities have allowed me to share my knowledge and learned experiences in order to help foster more effective and productive learning environments for students and teachers. Listed below are some of the professional learning sessions I have conducted over the past ten years.

Best Practices in Reading and Vocabulary Instruction
This professional learning session was conducted at Griffin Christian High School in January 2019. The focus of the session was to provide teachers with different strategies to enhance reading vocabulary instruction across the curriculum in all content areas.
Effective Classroom Management for the Middle and High School Teacher
This professional learning session was conducted at Griffin Christian High School in February 2018, and it was part of an ongoing professional learning series which focused on the school administration's mission. The purpose and focus of the session was to provide strategies and techniques for effective classroom management.
Student Data: Analyzing, Interpreting, and Using for Better Classroom Instruction
This professional learning session was conducted at Griffin Christian High School in August 2016 during pre-planning. It was part of an ongoing professional learning series which focused on the school administration's vision for the staff. In this session, teachers and staff unpacked testing data from the previous school year and discussed how to effectively use the data to drive instruction for the current school year. Teachers worked across curriculum to develop and devise plans for better instruction.
Differentiated Instruction in the Middle School and High School Classroom
This professional learning session was conducted at Griffin Christian High School in August 2016 during pre-planning. It was part of an ongoing professional learning series which focused on the school administration's vision for the staff. The purpose of this session was to provide teachers with the opportunity to brainstorm and discuss various strategies and techniques of effective differentiation and pedagogy to use in the classroom.
Differentiated Instruction in Plain English
This professional learning session was conducted at Griffin Christian High School in January 2016. The purpose of this particular session was to provide teachers and staff with a deeper understanding of differentiated instruction and to discuss the various methods, strategies, and techniques for effective differentiation in the classroom setting. The information presented was based on a research project and showcase conducted during my undergrad studies at University of North Georgia. It was first presented in the Spring of 2008 at University of North Georgia (formerly NGCSU).
